Dirty Santa

Last night, I went to the InsideOut leaders Christmas party at Buckhead Church.

We each brought a $5 gag gift for the White Elephant game (though some of them were actually pretty nice...save the granny panties that had been, ahem, stained with chocolate...I guess even leaders like high school jokes!). I ended up with a collection of adorable plates which I will most likely regift (be prepared friends and family!). We also brought desserts and appetizers. My favorite (per usual) was the macaroni and cheese. The seven layer dip was pretty amazing, too. So were the chocolate chip peanut butter caramel swirl cookies. Sigh...

The Attic (which is the whole 4th floor of the church where high schoolers meet, worship, and play games) was decked out with beautiful Christmas trees, decorated tables, and, of course, the fabulously gifted stylings of the Buckhead Church production team. Shannon even made us InsideOut ornaments to take home!

But my favorite was the photo backdrop, complete with Christmas trees, a blown-up penguin, and a box full of appropriately adorable reindeer antlers, elf hats, and even a Santa cape.

We had lots of fun taking pictures. I kissed the penguin for good measure.
